Oro Grande Classical Academy Interest List

Related Documents:
Application/Interest Form

Oro Grande Classical Academy is expanding to K – 6 for the 2019-2020 School Year. Students who live in the Oro Grande Attendance area will have first priority to the classroom “seats” currently allocated. Current Oro Grande students do not need to complete any paperwork.

In order to provide the greatest opportunity for all who are interested throughout our community, Oro Grande Classical Academy is creating an “Interest List”.

If you are interested in enrolling your student in the Classical Academy, you may complete and submit the attached form. Forms will be date and time stamped. Available seats will be filled on a first come-first served basis. Forms may be submitted in person or sent via email to lbowes@lhusd.org. The receipt time of the email will serve as the date and time stamp.

Should there be greater interest than seats available, the interest list will determine if additional staffing and seats will be added to the Classical Academy.

What is a Classical Education? Dr. Robert Jackson, the Chief Academic Officer of Great Hearts Academy will be our guest speaker on Wednesday February 6, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. This guest lecture will be held at Lake Havasu High School in The Little Theater. Dr. Jackson will describe what makes a classical education unique, and why parents and families are clamoring for this option in public education.
