Letter from the Superintendent

July 31, 2020

Dear LHUSD Families,

Over the last week, everyone at LHUSD has been busy preparing for the first day of school.  We are excited to welcome all of our students back virtually on Monday, August 3rd.

District Reopening Plan

We appreciate the valuable input we received from our parents, guardians, and staff through the surveys distributed in June to help us better plan for the 20-21 school year.  While this year continues to present challenges we look forward to welcoming our students and staff back as soon as possible with some added precautions to address the safety and well-being of our school community while continuing our commitment to a focus on scholarship, character, and humanity.

For detailed information, please view the reopening letter and student/employee reopening roadmaps.

The presentation contains the results from our parent and staff surveys and opening options based on that data (as presented to the Governing Board).
