Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment enables Arizona students to attend public schools outside their attendance area. In accordance with state law, the District has established an open enrollment policy and implemented an open enrollment program without charging tuition for non-resident students and resident transfer students.
In compliance with Arizona State Statute 15-816, capacity is listed on each school's website with which grade levels and/or specialized programming is currently available for the acceptance of Open Enrollment. This data will be updated every 12 weeks per legislative requirement and hence may be subject to change prior to any revision at the 12-week mark.
Per district Policy 5-105 and Arizona State Statute 15-816, acceptance of a student's Open Enrollment will be based on site capacity, availability of staff, and expulsion status. Please note that the district does not transport open enrollment students.
